I just setup SOA according to this guide:

However, when I install the clients, they are installing in demo mode. How do I fix this? If I go to the server, it shows I have a 2 year license.

How have you deployed avast to the clients? Using a standalone installer or using the deployment job?
Which version of console have you installed?
can you see in the console the clients attached with the green mark?
I did reboot the clients and that didn’t help.
I tried using the standalone installer.
I ended up re-installing the management console and that seemed to do the trick. Is there a way to deploy the client through a workgroup?
No… in a workgroup you must download on the clients the standalone installer as explained in the user guide at page 23
