Cntrl-alt-dele takes me straight to Task Manager...Why?

I am using Windows XP Home Edition, computer is several years old.

Recently downloaded Microsoft Office 2007

Now when I hit the Control Alt Delete keys, instead of seeing the box that has several options including logout or shutdown, I go straight to Task Manager.

I ran Malawarebytes’ Anti-malware Scan to be sure I do not have a virus, the scan is clean.

I do not know if I should be concerned or not…or perhaps someone knows if this is an update to Windows.

Thank you for your feedback, Jan

I’m not sure I haven’t used XP for ages, but this must be a setting to trigger the task manager directly… I think that was the default on my last XP install, not completely sure, but don’t look for malware there

Yes, I do remember a setting in control panel…
