Can someone please explain to me how this is possible. How is it possible for someone to see in real time what i am looking at on my laptop? I use my mobile as a modem connected via bluetooth password protected, and yet various people at my work seem to know what ive been looking at. I should point out that my laptop never leaves my house never gets used at work. What information would someone have to know about my computer to be able to do this completely undetected. The computer shows no signs of intrusion and i have since reinstalled the full system and c drive from the windows partition back to its original factory condition but to no avail. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE???
maybe a keylogger on your computer…or in your phone, do you have one of these new smart phones ?..or is there a camera hanging in the roof above you ;D
to see if there is something on your comp, you can let essexboy have a look inside
if so, follow this guide and post the logs
http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0
( post the logs HERE and not in the guide )
To avoid using multiple post with copy and paste you have to attach the log`s
Lower left corner: Additional Options > Attach ( Malwarebytes log / OTS log ) save OTS log as ANSI
Essexboy will look at the logs when he arrive
Whilst a password may stop others using the bluetooth connection, you don’t say if that bluetooth traffic is encrypted as like wifi, there must be sniffers capable of intercepting that traffic.
Currently I wouldn’t have a smart phone as when it comes to security most aren’t very smart at all.
Just try a google search for this, bluetooth sniffer and you will be surprised just how many hits you get. I would suggest that you start investigating how to increase the security between your laptop and phone, etc.
