Computer is Infected But Avast Can't Find Anything

I was subject to a phising attack, which avast! appeared to protect me from, however I began to recieve error messages, which made no sense if you comprehend computer terminology. I preformed a full scan, and recived more critical error reports, which I ignored, knowing they were reslut of the virus. Then I preformed a full boot-time scan, which found nothing. Upon the completion of startup, it appeared windows was running, in a sort of half state. No icons are visible, nothing appears to function. Avast appears to still be operational, and is requesting to run an executable in the sandbox, which clearly has trojan in the directory, and is originated from an a webpage, I suspect was where the attack originaly tried to send me. Task manager has been disabled, and I no longer appear to be the administrartor. Does anyone know what I can do?

follow this guide and attach all logs…not copy and paste

Very sorry to trouble you further, but as it says at the bottom, I am unable to view my files, etc. It says that I should not use any of the temporary file cleaners is Malwarebytes considered one of these?

NO.....but this is what Rogue Killer will fix...as you see under that line

Once you have run RogueKiller option 6 and have attached the logs here can you let me know what the state of your icons/folders are please

I have attached some report files, and the scree-shot. I will post the rest in another reply, as there was a limit. All problems appear to be resolved, however I noticed that aswMBR found a suspicious file. After the completion of RogueKiller, all files and icons were restored, with access. Desktop icons appeared after Malwarebytes was run. Thankyou very much for your help.

The rest of the report files.

there may be some leftovers to kill…
Essexboy will do that tomorrow when he has seen the OTL log

Avast is reporting one system file as suspicious so I will need to check that out

Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems

Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot

Run OTL

[*]Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

:OTL O3 - HKU\S-1-5-21-1659004503-179605362-682003330-1004\..\Toolbar\WebBrowser: (no name) - {2318C2B1-4965-11D4-9B18-009027A5CD4F} - No CLSID value found. Notes:

  1. Do not mouse-click Combofix’s window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

  3. If after the reboot you get errors about programmes being marked for deletion then reboot, that will cure it.

Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

I have attached all the logs. My computer is running faster, than before the infection, and I think it has also improved a bit from the last set of scans I preformed. Thankyou again for all your help.

[*]The scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient.
[*]When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
[*]Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
[]When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
[
]The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
[*]Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

I attached the quick scan report file. I cant confirm, but I am almost certain that all my folders have returned, and I am certain that all icons have returned. I can not find anymore issues with my machine, it’s working almost as well as when I first used it. Thanks again for all your help.
