Computer will not start after i did an avast! cleanup!!

Okay so for the past few days avast ahs been telling me to do a cleanup and restart however i was doing important work at the time and i didn’t have enough time to complete the cleanup so i left it a few days when i had finished all of the work and i was browsing youtube the cleanup message popped up, i pressed yes and left my computer for around 2hours on charge to complete the clean and to restart.

I went up to my room to see if it had finished and my PC was turned off. Nobody had been into the room and nobody had touched the PC during the clean up. I tried to turn the computer and it would not turn on. It was charging the whole time the restart was happening. I thought that the computer was not turned off completely so i took out the battery and put it back in and it would still not restart.

Please help me I use my PC alot ! and all of my work is on there. If anybody can help i would really appreciate it.

That is why you should have a backup.

But what do you mean with “it would not turn on”.
Does nothing happen at all or is it just windows that won’t boot?

What battery are you talking about?
The bios battery or is this a laptop?

Thanks. Took a while for the brain sprang into gear.
Which part of avast! told you do do a cleanup ??? I’ve never been told to clean up anything by avast!.
A screen shot would be helpful. The exact message would also help.
