concurrent connection limit in avast! exceeded(pass:0

Now I have had this problem before using Mailbird - my web client. I Disabled the Avast UI and in Programdata/AVAST SOFTWARE\Avast I modified the Emailshield.ini
This has now become EmailShield.ini.Obsolete I guess its not used anymore
So where do I increase the number of connections so that I can send and receive emails once more without having to disable Avast?
