Conficker test

This has already been mentioned in another topic, but I can’t see how this has any real value as it isn’t scanning your system.
If you can see all six images in both rows of the top table, you are either not infected by Conficker, or you may be using a proxy server, in which case you will not be able to use this test to make an accurate determination, since Conficker will be unable to block you from viewing the AV/security sites.
If the files are on your system but dormant haven’t been active this this proves nothing.
have no idea how this works ??? but found it here in the first QA
It relies on the fact that Conficker blocks access to certain domains.
I.e. if you see all the images, there’s no blocking (and most likely no Conficker).
If some of the domains are blocked, but some aren’t, it looks like something is blocking access to them, and since it’s known which domains Conficker blocks, it can work a simple infection test.

a question does avast block it ?
You mean the Conficker worm?
Do you think we would leave the hottest worm of these days undetected?
Cheers
