Confusing and lengthy installation after buying AVAST Pro for 3 devices

Why do i have to go through this maze of differing instructions after buying a recent subscription.

When i open the AVAST Pro ANTIVIRUS 2015 desktop interface and go to “Secure another device”

I am told to BOTH “Download installation file” (on my present device) AND
“send instructions” (an email), supposedly to my other device.

When i get this email, it sends me to

CNET.com !!! of all places,

to download AVAST FREE ! ! ! and tries to get me to install Dropbox at the same time (in small text at bottom of install screen)

i could have gone to CNET myself without the stupid email

why do you make us spend all this extra, confusing time after we have paid you???

it might seem confusing however

  1. installing Free AV and then inserting a license into it is also a valid way how to install avast product
  2. for some users it’s more convenient to download from “local” download server than from avast’s central storage

Anyway, I reported it to dev team to check whether there is a way to improve it

The “dropbox” install isn’t solved by downloading it from Avast. Not installing dropbox requires unchecking the box.
