Confusion about Pc version versus Mobile download

Hi, I have just downloaded Avast and so far I am confused. I downloaded it to my PC no problem, it has activated all features including VPN, all active on the desktop so I downloaded the avast on android, a different story, to activate the VPN and most things there I need a licence, which is fine, I will buy one but why does it seem simple on the PC but not the phone. For example I signed into my account on the computer, all good, for some reason It says my antivirus licence is active until April 2019 and my VPN connection expires in 60 days, which is weird because I assumed it was the full package and all features were covered by a single licence. Apparantly not. And on my phone its even worse, won’t let me activate VPN even though I’m signed into same account as I am on PC, charges seperately for the gallery feature, my android does not detect free anti virus until next year and constantly takes me to the upgrade page. I am confused, isn’t everything covered by one licence and isn’t one account enough to detect licences between devices. My phone seems a lot more unwilling that the PC. Anyone help?

In short, no. A Windows license doesn’t cover Android and vice versa.

Supuestamente.con una licencia en la pc cubre dispositivos android y ios, pero al bajar la app mobile viene con publicidad y cuando la quiero activar me dice que tengo que pagar

It very much depends on the type of your licence, as our licence type “family” has grown recently. With the “Avast Mobile Ultimate Multi” you buy licences for both PC/Mac and Android. If you want us to check the type of your licence, please contact our Support, thanks.

Hi Tereza, good to know. Is there any official link to this offer (for details/reference)…? Cheers
