I used Norton 
then AVG Free edition 
'til i found avast! ;D
I just can’t believe that all these great features are free (home user) :
- virus scanner + cleaner
- resident protection (system, mail, P2P, instant messaging)
- incremental update
- very cool forum
- technical support
Again, congratulations !!
