Hi, I downloaded an old game, roadrash, (its freeware) thinking I would run it in vista’s win 98 compatibility mode, scanned the zip with avast and malwarebytes and it came up clean. I was unable to install the file, so I attempted to delete it. I got an error that the folder was in use by another program. I checked my task manager, when I ended conime.exe I was able to delete the file.
I checked it online at Jotti’s malware scan, and only 1 out of 20 malware scanners found a problem in the zip file, it classified it Trojan.Genome.qlpl
Can I submit that zip file even though I’m running the free version of avast?
