I am connected to my home WiFi network. I don’t change anything in the router or in Windows settings, still often (maybe always, I’m not sure) when I start the computer, I get the “Connected to new network” message.
Why does Avast think, the network is new?

- In Windows Settings > Network & internet > WiFi > Hardware properties the value of Physical address (MAC) is unchanged. I.e., the computer’s MAC address is the same all the time.
- Taking the first IP address in the output of
tracert 8.8.8.8
and searching for it in the output ofarp -a
gives the same MAC address all the time. I.e., the router’s MAC address is also unchanged.
