I have a Samsung Tab 4 (SM-T337A) running Android 5.1.1 for AT&T. I’m contemplating buying Avast Mobile Premium for its few extra quirks. Before I do, however, I would like to know if root is needed for said extra quirks (Ad Detector, Anti-theft, and Application Locking).
And because I’m already here asking question, if I could bother to ask if a Kindle Fire HDX3 running Android Fire OS 4.5.5 is supported by Avast Mobile?
No you keep dreaming I have proved what I have told the OP. I have nothing else to prove. As I have said which is backed up by the Google plus page the next build of AMS the premium features will be free. Now what are you jabbering on about? Having half knowledge on anything is dangerous…Full or no knowledge is best! Why? Well at least the person with no knowledge is smart enough to ask or seek out knowledge.
(Hatrick hero done him.)
Believe what you want but I will be personally wanting a apology if I am proved to be correct. As for your last paragraph not if you are the product there is not. It’s nothing different then the way most apps go about things. Free apps have ads. To get rid of ads you pay a fee.
Did anyone see the (quickly removed) blog post about AMS talking about how AMS was due to go free? (Premium features included) As a sorry to all premium users we was offered a pro rata subscription to avast secureline. I have indeed taken up the offer. Now do you think they would go as far as to honour the deal to then change their minds? They might well do but that would not be great from a PR point of view. I don’t think the above is good news by the way. I would much prefer there to be a paid and unpaid offering but I am sure they have their reasons for it if that is indeed what they choose to do. All signs say that it is.
please, be nice to each other Patrice is correct. AMS5 will be free in production, not only in beta. There won’t be any premium features or any kind of a premium plan. All the previously premium features will be for free in AMS5. AMS5 is currently in beta though, so if you want/need all the features in production quality and a proper tech support, we encourage you to stay in AMS4 Premium, but otherwise you can start enjoying all the features for free in AMS5 beta.

I wanna see who (out of the two) is going to be man (or woman) enough to admit their mistake…
