I tried to uninstall Avast using control panel. After rebooting as suggested I receive a Startup Repair window that is unable to repair and forces me into recovery mode. I get stuck here because I don’t have a restore point. I can access Command Prompt but am unfamiliar with using command line. I don’t have a recovery disc because Windows 7 was preloaded on my system. It won’t even let me start in Safe Mode. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
If Windows is preïnstalled the supplier need to give you a cd/dvd unless there is a recovery partition on the system.
The later is most likely the case.
If it is a brand system, check the manufacturers website of that system and lookup how to use the recovery partition.
If it is not a brand system and there is no recovery partition, you can contact the seller and demand a dvd or…
