Could this message really coming from Avast Antivirus or is from a Virus?

See the screenshot file attached.
From time to time while trying to scan my PC, I get this ridiculous message from Avast Antivirus.
I can hardly believe it is really coming from your software; I fear it could come instead from a powerful virus being able to control my PC and Avast Antivirus as well.
Also because this message is only coming while my PC has other strange and rare behaviour (running very slowly).
What do you think about that?

Thanks, I will try! But… writing “The UI is really having a bad day”, like the UI could have bad and good days,… seems really a fake!
