Could you make a fix for my machine? MSI-G31M

Hi! Well avast doesn’t work properly on my computer since the version 8. This is getting silly! I can’t be the only one who has this computer!

When I try to shut down my computer, the system freezes at the log out menu when it’s trying to shut down the computer.

My computer:
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit original all updates.
Main board MSI-G31M (MS-7379VP) http://www.wind-msi.de/product/mb/G31M.html#/?div=Driver&os=Vista%2064
Additional components:
Intel Core 2 Quad Cpu Q9300 @2,50Ghz
Nvidia Geforce 9600GT
Hardrive: Barracuda 7200.11 Serial ATA

PLEASE MAKE A FIX! :cry:

Don’t tell me to install avast again. I did everything as it’s writen in the read me. I also used the avast cleanert tool.

  • Which version…?
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before avast!..?

Avast 2015 free. Tryed yesterday. My system is actually clean. Don’t have any remains of the old avast versions. I’ve been waiting for the version 2015 this long ???

And so I used AVG free

First, be sure to get rid of all remnants of your prior installed AV(s)…!!

Then:

  1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: http://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe
  2. Follow instructions: http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.
