CPU slowing down

Hello and thank you in advance for any and all help.

I am currently experiencing a problem with my PC
There is a fjhdyfhsn.bat on my desktop. I was running Internet Explorer and a strange message appeared. Click on Cancel again and again. Then click on OK and now I have this bad guy on my desktop

In Task Manager, cmd.exe is wasting almost 46% from CPU and iexplorer.exe is taking 47% This two guys take almost 99% of my CPU

I have Windows Vista Home Starter and Service Pack 1

I hope to hear from someone soon!

try to end task the cmd.exe and iexplorer.exe because the virus are using them ,…

then after terminating of it, try to install http://malwarebytes.org and scan ur pc…

Emman ™…,…

My computer’s CPU Usage has been really high (60%-100%), I have scanned my computer with Avast and MBAM but it said I didn’t have anything.

That really has worried me. Is it possible that I have a virus/malware but don’t know it? Would updating MBAM and Avast help me at all?
Thanks…

Hi Misuzu,

Please :

  1. Download HijackThis Tool
  2. Do scanning with HijackThis and generate report
  3. Submit your log report in here

Maybe from this report, we could gain any suspicious things on your system.

Beside that please clen your registry and coockies :

  1. Download Ccleaner
  2. Do Internet Explore/Firefox/Chrome/Safari browser scan and clean the coockies
  3. Do registry scan and fix selected issues, but if you don’t have any experience please share with us in here.

Those two things are safe, I’m sure? Sorry, but I’m such a paranoid virus-freak. :stuck_out_tongue:

But I do want to say that I have both up-to-date Avast and MBAM. (I’m pretty sure my Avast is up to date…) And my computer is disconnected from the internet 85% or more of the time and I haven’t recently been on the internet.
Avast and MBAM haven’t detected anything. But MBAM’s Thorough scan nearly took 2 Hours to complete, but MBAM told me that I didn’t have any malicious software on my computer.

I really don’t like downloading things… But if Avast and MBAM doesn’t find anything, what does that mean?
Thanks for your reply!

hope they can help you…^^

Hello everyone.

Before I download anything, because my Avast and MBAM hasn’t detected anything (MBAM I think took 2 hours to do a Thorough scan because I was on the internet, my computer goes slower when it’s connected to the internet…) is there any other reason why my CPU Usage could be higher?

Avast seems to slow down my computer, especially when I’m connected to the internet. Could I have malware that hasn’t been included in a Avast/MBAM update? Or is that unlikely because most of their updates are up-to-date with the most recent viruses/malware?
There’s a lower chance that I have the most recent malware on my computer because since the last month I’ve only connected to the internet to update my MBAM and Avast (Which makes no sense really if I’m not on the internet hardly at all…) and that’s all I’ve done on the internet on my computer.

I read in my “Windows Help and Support” that the CPU Usage could be high because a application isn’t working. I had a pop-up on my computer about a application (I found out it was my Bamboo Tablet) on my computer wasn’t working properly… Could this possibly be why my CPU Usage is high?
Thanks!

Never mind I made a topic for it
