CPU Usage Too High!

hi, today I installed Avast Internet Security 12.1.22.72 on my Windows, but it is using 40%-55% of my CPU all the time, I did a restart but no changes :frowning:
Since I use heavy CPU tasks, if this continues I’ll uninstall it. so plz help me.
the services eating my CPU is "avast! Service (32 bit) => Avast Antivirus.
I have installed it on Windows 10 Pro.

  • W10 (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

Hello! I had the same problem… You must go to "settings>tools and disable “Cleanup” and you’ll be fine… And you must restart your pc. ;D

  • Win 10 x64 (1511, Build 10586. 420).
  • No other security related software installed.
  • Used to use Windows Defender itself and nothing Else…

You can attach it here on the forum.

Click that icon.Open the log file in Notepad and copy all the text(Ctrl+A) and paste(Ctrl+V)on PM send it.

Ok i have another problem… When i attaching the log file i get message that it say “You do not have the necessary permissions to open this file”
