Creating a report on computers without Avast

Hi,

Has anyone been able to create a custom Reporting Task that can report on the number of computers on the network that DON’T have Avast installed?

Ideally the report should include the computer name so that the users can be easily hunted down and zapped with Avast! manually.

If anyone has any advice I’d greatly appreciate it.

Yes, of course.

You can use ADNM’s Dynamic Group concept for this.

There’s even a pre-prepared dynamic group called “Computers without Agent” (if memory serves me well) which lists all machines without avast, and you can use this group to limit the output of any of the “coverage” reports.

When specifying the group name in the report’s properties, place the group name in paranthesis, indicating that it’s a dynamic group.
