Credit card charged without my consent

I did not update the expiration date of my credit card, so it does not get charged automatically. It still did! Now trying to get refund from Avast and waiting on the phone for long time. Should I ask my credit card to block the payment?

This is me, too. It says my subscription is ending on the 27th and it does not automatically renew. I don’t even remember setting that one up first of all. And then it claims in red that it does not automatically renew, then why are you charging me 71 dollars. Luckily, I am broke so they not getting any money. Then the website has the nerve to say update payment method after you tried to charge me 4 times at 5 in the morning like a thief in the night. I never upgraded my Avast stuff and it still says I haven’t so I am confused. And I am also not getting a response with this phone number. I am still on hold. And you can’t cancel the account because it says the subscription keeps going anyway. If you are paying through Paypal, you can go to paypal settings and hit “Stop Paying With Paypal” in the subscription or autopay section.

Hi @user1790 I’m sorry to hear that. I recommend that you request a refund by following this article: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/refund-request/
