Congrats, a few parties in the streets of Prague.

Petra Kvitova, blew Maria Sharapova away.

Czech eighth seed Petra Kvitova won her maiden Grand Slam title with a 6-3 6-4 dismissal of Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old, who becomes the first Czech to win the title since Jana Novotna in 1998, served out the match to love with her first ace of the day on championship point.

I may live in the USA but Wimbledon is the best! All of England should be proud.
