Data Shield Protector not inclued in Prenium version ?

Hello,
First of all, sorry for my bad English, I’m a French speaker.

I have the Prenium (Premier) version of Avast but I can’t use the Data Shield Protector. When I try to open it, Avast asks me to buy either Avast Internet Security or Avast Premier. But I have Avast Prenium installed and activated.

Here my screenshots (sorry the first one is in French): « Sorry, Data Shield Protector is a pay feature and is not available in Avast Premier » but I don’t know exactly the original text in English.

I tryed to check if there are an update, but both database and avast itself is up to date.
I downloaded Avast from avast.com, not from another site.

Also: I bought Avast Driver Updater separatly, but I read somewhere that this feature is supposed to be inclued in Avast Premier. Do I have to ask a refund? I think there is some kind of problem with my licence key.

PS : I bought my licence ky on avast.com as well as I downloaded Avast itself from avast.com.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

There’s no need to do a repair.

Just wait for a VPS update and it will unlock… should be one or more today, if not, definitely tomorrow.

Did it. Data Shield Protected is gone from the menu but seems to work, just I cannot configure it and see which documents are protected.
I searched into “confidentiality” and “protection” and I didn’t find it. It seems to be just “vanished”.

Edit: Supposed to be in “confidentiality” above “Webcam Agent”, but it’s gone.

  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?

needed to reboot my pc , after that Data Shield Protector is back in “confidentiality” without “lock” like (you are french) here
