delete files from cd

hello

i have few files in writeable cd from 2007 and those files are private files.i want to delete those files from writeable cd? format is not done because it is not rewriteable cd.

is there any way to delete those files permanently from writeable cd? it is writable only 1 time. is there any trick to delete that files from cd?i have about 5 cds.

i dont want my cd goes to someones hand as they are really my private files and pictures in it

any way to delete it instead throwing and breaking it?

If you don’t need them anymore, it’s probably the easiest/most secure way. :wink:

A cd-r is Write once, Read many
It is not possible to wipe it.

A cigarette lighter would work; just melt a few holes in it.
