Did you know that drag and drop file starts Targeted scan of the file/folder?

  • Request - Avast Security used to have a feature where you could drag files onto the box and it would scan them … much more convenient than going through the current involved process of selecting a targeted scan and then looking for the specific file or files you want to scan. Please bring this feature back.

  • Answer - hey, drop a file/folder to the Avast’s icon in Dock. It will start Targeted scan.
