I bought nero 6, on the CD it says to disable any anti-virus software before installing. can someone tell me how you disable avast se personal, I’ve had a look but can’t see it anywhere. thanks Dan
can you see the task bar icon, the “a” which is animating. Right click it, “Stop On-Access Protection”…
anyway, you really don’t have to disable avast to install Nero, Nero stated that for some reason, i.e. some antivirus software might report that some files in the installer are/is virus which is actually not true, This is called “false positive”.
Well, in fact, Nero asks for that just for precaution… I’ve installed with avast! running, no problems at all 8)
