Disable CyberCapture in Avast One

This question has been asked before. No response. No update to the original question.

Same problem as before. Exclusion DOES NOT WORK. No way to stop applications (.exe) that are being developed being sent to “Avast Labs”.

Please help or I will have to find another product.

Updated to add, as the previous post mentions, a lot of the documentation is out of date, and barely explains what the options do.

It seems I can’t even upload a screenshot into this forum.

What does File Shield > Advanced Settings > Analyse unrecognised files do?
or Notify me if an app behaves suspiciously?

Where are the old CyberCapture settings that were under “Core Shield”?

I’ve disabled Account > Privacy Policy > Share suspicious samples, but that hasn’t worked either.

One of the Problems in using the Avast One product range is the Settings are different as are the components included. Generally more components and less configuration more for users that don’t dig into programs to change default setting, for most users this is fine. This is why I have stuck with Avast Free.

I have it in Avast Free, see attached screenshot, click to expand.
This shows where it is in Avast Free if you can try and find the equivalent location in Avast One.

Hello,

The feature was renamed last year, and you should be able to disable it in the File Shield → Advanced Settings → Analyze unrecognized files. Please let me know if this works.
