Disable HTTPS Scanning

I have the free version of Avast AV and Thunderbird for email, and often a pop up regarding a certificate pops up.

According to someone on the mozilla support forum, one of the steps to fix it is to Disable HTTPS Scanning:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER#w_avast

I am following that and looking at https://support.avast.com/en-ww/article/Use-Antivirus-HTTPS-scan, however, my screen looks like https://www.screencast.com/t/k71le7Z4d and I don’t see an option for “Enable HTTPS Scanning”.

Did something change? Is there still an option to uncheck “Enable HTTPS Scanning”?

It’s listed under the WEB shield…
your screenshot is from the MAIL shield.

oh, I see it. Thank you.
