Greetings,
After buing avast and restart of laptop all protections are disabled. Restart wont change this issue, they wont start.
Firewall window seems to show itself focused when not directly clicked.
Also delphi 7 stopped working.
In app message there is still protection, please restart.
Maybe not all, allowed programs are running - explorer sometimes freezes.
Please help.

more info needed, what operating system, where did you download avast from. have you got any other anti virus software loaded and which build/version have you got loaded, latest is 25.3.
Have you got the avast icon on bottom right of screen (win 10) and has it got a red x showing.
right click on icon > hover mouse over avast sheild control > does it say enable or disable. when i turn mine off it shows 15 disabled.
click on enable and see if that works.
if not maybe a bad install which needs fixing and maybe others can advise on that.

Disabled, - defending mode works, nothing hangs
After reenabling restarting, defence walls are not.
Sometimes curing installation wont run (still, i have trustedinstallator issue), and restart of protections were not successfull.

It seems bad.
as far as i know every laptop has a right click option. if you do not have a mouse then press or tap your bottom right mousepad which should open your right click.
None from touchpad, key (true!).
Im after reinstall and using disabled for second party antyviruses?
Maybe it was bad firsts deny config or not.
Anyway second antyvirus, should be used or there is any news about new viruses, do wonder about networking at end of win 10 support…

you cannot have 2 antivirus installed on one laptop. that could be your problem.
Are there i think default config settings for messages input questions dialog, for win 10?
I think he mentions Defender as other antivirus.

Have you uninstalled Avast AV using their unisinstall tool avastclear.exe from here: Avast Removal Tool | Download Avast Clear | Avast
Where did you download Avast from. Only download from Avast or a verified re-seller.
After you have uninstalled and restarted, do a new clean install.
