I am using avast 5 in windows xp sp3 environment. My mail client is OE6. I have come across a warning message which is attached to this. It is advising me to disable SSL/TLS in my mail client. I would be thankful to you if some senior evangelist advise me as to how to disable this in my system?
Open the OE, Tools, Accounts, the Gmail account properties, Advanced tab and uncheck the this server requires a secure connection (SSL) for both SMTP and POP3.
