I have a subscription to ADU. I have just started my system and received a message that Avast has updated my (free version) of Avast Antivirus. After the information about the new and updated features it proceeds to tell me that I have outdated drivers (looks like real updates have been found) and invited me to try ADU (which is already installed). However I am getting no such alert from ADU. I ran ADU it reported all my drivers up to date. I had ADU re-scan, all drivers are up to date. I did a manual update to ensure I have the latest version of ADU. I had ADU re-scan it reported my drivers are up to date. This is not the first time I have encountered this scenario.
So, why after every update of avast anti-virus does it report outdated drivers and invite me to try ADU when I already have it installed (seems like it would be simple to check)? Also, why is the ability of ADU to detect driver updates woefully inadequate compared to Avast Antivirus itself?
Maybe room for improvement here.
