Discovery Taks on mixed networks

Hello,

We are just testing Avant Standard Suite, in a network with 100 Windows XP clients, distributed in several Samba domains (same network).
In order to use the ADMn console, whe installed de server and the console in a W2003 Server (set up in a distinct Workgroup in the same network).
Is there any way to enforce the discovery task by means of IP instead of using AD or NT LanManager mechanisms?
No success until now…

One more question, assuming there is no way to use discovery task, because off, no domains are seen from the W2003 server.
If we use msi package in order to install avast agents on the clients, will we be able to see the clients on the console and run the scheduled upgrading/scanning tasks?
