Disfecting my friends's netbook

Hi. I am currently cleaning my friend’s netbook from virus/malware infection.

It was formerly protected by mse but some malware disabled it. I already made the recommendations according to here.

The specs of this machine is

windows 7 stater 32bit
intel atom 1.83ghz
1gb ram
intel gma 3150

Is there anything more I need to do to completely disinfect this machine?

Looks like you got it all … Is the computer behaving itself ?

There are a lot of MSE drivers just taking up space which I could remove for you if you wish

well not much. there are huge backups that the harddisk is almost full.

OK lets remove the old MSE drivers and clear all the temporary folders
Download the attached fix.txt to your desktop

Warning This fix is only relevant for this system and no other, using on another computer may cause problems

Be advised that when the fix commences it will shut down all running processes and you may lose the desktop and icons, they will return on reboot

Run OTL

[*]Press Run Fix

[*]Locate the fix.txt and select
[*]Then click the Run Fix button at the top again
[*]Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done
[*]Open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Post the log it produces in your next reply.

Your C drive is OK for space and D is getting a little full but not too badly

Are you experiencing any other problems ?

I removed some backups in drive D that are not necessary anymore.

None so far.
