I do not use this but am considering it.

Can you post, later, your experiences? Thanks.

I started the download, but, since it is 2mb and I am on dial-up, the time is over 5 hours for download. So, I stopped the download. Sorry that I can not help with it.

I just changed to Broadband in the last few months, and never remember dial up being that slow. Downloading 2MB at 26k a second should certainly take a lot less time, but I may be wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time.

Yes this is strange CharleyO ??? I am on dialup and it took me just under 7 mins to download the file.

Most strange, as another dial-up user, a 2MB file should take about 7-8 minutes on my line on a good day it is 1MB = 31/2 minutes, on a bad day 5 minutes.

Ok, I’m happy to not be at a dial-up system ;D
But, does anybody knows more about the software? Any volunteer to test? 8)

Based on what it does from the web site I don’t feel it would be any real use for members of this forum.

The SMF forum software gives these options already, links to show new topics since your last visit and more importantly (what this piece of software it trying to do) Show new replies to your posts. So I’m not sure how much value this would be, certainly not much to me personally.

Did anybody try it?

Are you going to try it then ;D or are you waiting for a guinea pig ;D

tednely would appear to be the only one to have even downloaded it.

It’s a confusing program.
I managed to add one forum but am having problems adding others.

Does it do anything more than the ‘show new topics’ that we already have in forums?

Isn’t it a free (Lite) limitation?

I see no advantage to using this program.
Unless you use dial up and simply want to have everything available off-line

If the light version is restricted, then that’s all the more reason to forget it… ;D

Maybe some day I’ll have to be off-line in a notebook and want to browse avast forum… when this day come, I know which software look for.

Well… that’s the rules…

Thanks for testing Bob. Not to me, by now.
