hi, i was a avg9 user and recently there was a problem between avg9 and ZoneAlarm >:(. so now i switch to avast, the problem was the two program conflicted with each other after a avg9 update and user unable to access the internet. i just install avast :-, so no problem so far. are there any problem between the two programs that i should know ??? ZA ver:9.1.007.002, Av ver: 5.0.507
Generally not, you don’t say if you are using the Pro version of ZA, where its privacy function has been known to cause problems in the past (logging in to https sites where there is a switch back and forward between http and https pages).
I would however suggest running this tool to ensure all remnants of avg are gone - - AVG8.x (or higher) Remover, download tool from here, http://www.avg.com/download-tools there is a 32bit and 64 bit windows version, ensure you use the correct one.
