Does AVAST automatically prolongs licenses and automatically charges CreditCard?

Normally I would not mind, but now I completely stopped with windows and microsoft related software.

Subscription was prolonged for a year, a couple of months ago I don’t know anymore if this was done automatically, or if I checked in the past that for the future that charging the CreditCard can be done automatically.

Anyways I want to reverse that automatic charging (if any) since I’m now completely LINUX, which has no AVAST PRO for clients?

Would be nice if there was AVAST PRO for LINUX though? And cross platform licensing?

PS: Stopping with windows had nothing to do with AVAST PRO I always was reasonable content with my AVAST, however LINUX CLAMTK anti virus program finds every day 4 to 5 viruses, AVAST for windows maybe 4 to 5 every year

You need to stop the auto-renewal (if it is enabled)

There is only a linux version for servers.

Sounds to me it is giving a lot of false positives unless you got e.g. real bad browsing habits.

Just the ordinary three P’s of the Internet = Porn, Pills and Poker

Only Joking, I’m only 8 hours offline a day, so I get all the flack? Can someone target my modem or my IP? So I mean not from my browsing, but the fact simply that I’m Internet connected?

Yes, modems/routers are targeted nowadays as well.

If you can supply a few examples of the detections by clamtk that avast doesn’t flag, we can have a look at them and perhaps find out why they are flagged (rightfully or not).
