Does Mail Shield support POP Peeper?
could be wrong but dont think so…as it seem to be a mail notifier http://www.poppeeper.com/
if it dont, webshield will scan the incomming data… so nothing to worry about
Avast scans and protect pop mail, so the client used shouldn’t matter.
POP Peeper is not just a mail notifier, it can receive and send mails. Does Mail Shield support it? If not, I will simply disable Mail Shield.
Test it for yourself as to whether avast is compatible with pop peeper.
I would not disable the Mail Shield as that could be your first guard against a spam bot running on your system, if it’s not used it’s not using any resources so leave it be.
i guess you find out if you check mail shield logg

Check task manager with mail shield installed and then removed - you’ll notice no difference in resources used.

Have you ever done this? If yes, I will trust you and don’t have to do it myself.
