thanks ;D
Here is a comparison chart of the different products currently available http://www.avast.com/comparison-chart. Also keep in mind that no one security product is 100%, therefore many security experts recommend layering defense. For example adding on-demand scanners, which are free. You can look at user’s Signatures to get an idea.
Please keep in mind that Avast has a new version of these products coming out in another 1 - 2 months with upgrades not yet announced to the public. Something new is actually coming out tomorrow. So stay tuned.
so? Does it remove any tracking cookies? and you havent answer my question. ???
As far as I know, it doesn’t remove tracking cookies… they’re not viruses, and Avast is an Anti-virus program.
So, the same applies to the phishing and adware question as well. Keyloggers are usually accompanyied by a virus, so they will most likely be caught.
If you want phishing, adware, etc. protection, either download malwarebytes, or get the Avast Internet Suite which has all of the “extras” that you want.
MalwareBytes Paid is a one time license fee ans well worth the projection it offerers.
CCleaner removes tracking cookies.

In addition to the suggestions offered by YoKenny, depending on your browser, if you use FF, you can use add-on’s like BetterPrivacy to remove LSO’s (super tracking cookies which also remove Flash cookies) and AddBlockPlus.
You can layer your protection with something like PrevX with SafeOnline http://www.prevx.com/safeonline.asp. This does protect you against phishing keyloggers, and much more.
You are better off using a good AV like Avast, then layering your security software and surfing in a safer browser and using common sense when online. I use all the products mentioned so far in this post and all are compatible with Avast. In addition, scan your machine weekly to make sure your software is up to date with something like Secunia Software Inspector (free) http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/personal/ since software is changing rapidly and this is another area of vulnerability for malware to sneak in.
Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thank you.
Well SafeSurf did by providing the link in the reply.
