Does the uninstall utility actually work?

I want to know if the uninstall utility works or has been tested.
Please make sure: after rebooting(uninstall success), Windows Defender antivirus does not say you are using a third-party app and just says Windows Defender antivirus is on.

No, I did not uninstall it yet but I still plan to install the “free” edition of Avast, so I want to know.

I’ve used it many times on most versions including Avast One. Yes, it works.

Does that mean Windows Defender antivirus can be used again?
