I was charged 82 US$ tonight for a years subscription to avast free antivirus. I did not realize it would charge me for a year after my free subscription ended and I wanted to refund this purchase, but I am unable to find the order ID for this order. I have tried all 5 possible emails that the account could be linked to to find my order ID, but it says that none of the accounts exist in the system. I have the paypal receipt from Digital River with an invoice ID and all the relative information, but I do not have an order ID to use to process the refund request. I was wondering how I am able to process the request with the information I have on hand as I did not want to pay for a yearly subscription and was using the free trial for a program which I found out did not require the vpn anymore after 20 days of use. I was not expecting to be charged without being notified that my trial had finished and that the payments would start straight away, let alone make me pay for a years subscription to an antivirus which I had disabled anyways (as I was only using the Secureline VPN feature). I was hoping to also be able to find the order ID on the app installed on my PC, but to my dismay I was not signed into any account, so I wasn’t even able to check which email the order ID and confirmation was sent to in order to refund it. I was wondering if you would be able to send me another way to create a support ticket as I have the information from the paypal invoice which could help you in the refund process.

Thanks for trying to help but I have also tried that. Unfortunately I cannot submit one without an order id and that’s why I made this post. Thanks anyways.

Using this link you don’t have to put the Order ID, just your basic informations and submit the request.
But, there’s a problem…
If you don’t remember the email and could not find it, the support will not be able to detect your account at the first moment, i guess.
But, you can try and see if they can help you out, even without the Order ID and the email that is “linked” to your Avast account.
