I am not even sure if this is a problem with Avast. I am trying to connect to www.iwriter.com from my main computer. I can get in but I cannot get into the details of my account. Customer support for this website says I have to connect using the IP address that I used from my laptop computer. It is the same IP address. All my computers run through a wireless router and both have Avast Free edition on them.
I have no problem connecting to this site using my laptop but my main computer is a no go. This is the first time I have tried connecting to this site using my main computer. I tried another laptop that is connected to my router and the same thing. I cannot connect. Is this a problem with the virus software or something else?
