Avast sent me an email to update my credit card information. So I went online and updated the information and upgraded the version to Premier. Then 2 weeks the auto-renewal kicked and I got charged again. Sent a ticket on 4/15 and 2 weeks later there is no response.

I am on the phone with Digital River support.
April 5th is the date i updated credit card information.
April 13th is the date the auto renewal charged me again.
The lady is asking me which one to cancel. I am like i don’t know…she is saying if we cancel the wrong one, i will lose my subscription.
Whilst this is a pain, it will be resolved, but I’m an avast user like yourself and not an avast employee, but I have reported this.
Did you receive emails for your two charges (receipt/order numbers, license information, etc.?
If so they should have a transaction/email date to work on which was the first one in.
Ok the lady cancelled the first one from April 5th. I have new order id of April 13th and she reset the password to the one of my choice. Which is great.
I think I am set now.
The Avast store has Premier for 3 PCs at $55 (which I was hoping to get for new laptop next month) but Digital River has it for $79.
They cannot upgrade for that price. If i purchase from Avast Store, then i have to call Digital River back and cancel the April 13th charge.
This is all very cumbersome.
I will just leave it alone now, and worry about this in 2016.
I got refunded for $42 for the earlier charge of April 5th. I had purchased Premier.
Then on Saturday May 2nd, my computer said it was not licensed.
I checked my email for a license with order number 13527661400, which the Digital River customer support said was the latest active one.
None of the emails had one.
So I went to http://www.avast.com/resend-license.v2.php and it sent me a key which I loaded.
Now my computer says Avast Internet Security and not premier.
Frustrating.
Maybe i should cancel this one also. And make a new purchase from Avast Store of my account which gives me discount?
Please be a little patient. I’ve also alerted Avast to see if they can help you make the right switches without
getting things more confused.

It seems that you’re all set now Sorry about the inconvenience, it seems that while on the phone with DigitalRiver they indeed cancelled the incorrect one.
