When I try to download something from the Net with Firefox or Explorer, the download stop.
I have to pause and restart many times or close Avast to be able to download.
If someone can help me!

What are your computer specs (RAM, HDD. Model, Service Pack, etc…)
Can you explain in greater detail what is happening?
You say you can’t download anything with FF or IE because it stops and you have to close avast! to download???
Has avast! detected any trojans or viruses lately???
Which firewall do you use?
Any other security program installed?
