Downloaded Avast Anti-theft for Android (Rooted) and nothing happened

It just flashed a warning that the app wants root access, I granted access, it said the app is installed, but I have no control over it whatsoever. Could it be that Avast tricked me into revealing my GPS location to them in hopes for free anti-theft protection?

I wish to uninstall, since I can’t figure out how to run the App dashboard or whatever it is (It’s the dashboard in Cerberus)

"In the last step, you can connect your device to your avast! Account,
or create a new avast! Account if you don’t already have one. This is
especially useful if you are installing Anti-Theft, as you can control
your device remotely via the avast! Account portal. This is described
later in this guide, in the section “avast! Account web portal”. "

This didn’t show up for me
