Hi, I’ve been trying to recover files accidently deleted from Carbonite, my backup provider. The recovered files download for a time and then I get a message saying something like “download incomplete, Invalid”. I’ve tried temporarily turning of the “Shields” but this has not helped. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

What Avast Program and version are you using ?
Whilst I don’t use the Avast Secure Browser, I can’t see why it would block the download. If it were to block the download I would have expected it to block immediately.
Does Carbonite’s program not initiate the download (assuming it has a program on your system) without the need to use a browser ?
If you are trying to use the ASB to download a new program release/update, have you tried a different browser ?
A screenshot of the error window ‘might’ help.
This question would probably have been in the ASB sub-forum or possibly the Avast Antivirus sub-forum, but for best left here until it is defined what the issue is.
