I’m getting BSODs which are apparently caused by Avira driver. I uninstalled Avira in Safe Mode using removal tool and then re-installed Avira from offline package as promted on one of the forums. It didn’t help. Below is the extract from Bluescreenview :

Hi karol_kacperczyk
aswStm.sys is avast driver please provide us system dump.
The default location of the dump file is %SystemRoot%\memory.dmp i.e C:\Windows\memory.dmp if C: is the system drive. Windows can also capture small memory dumps which occupy less space. These dumps are created at %SystemRoot%Minidump.dmp (C:\Window\Minidump.dump if C: is the system drive).
Zip the dump as karol_kacperczyk_bsod.zip and upload it to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming server.
Thank you for report !
I updated Zone Alarm Freeware to the newest version. It’s self-updater dosen’t seem to work properly which often leaves me with using an outdated Firewall for considerable amount of time. If BSODs still continue to occur, should i contact ZA Support?
BTW : Your verification system(captcha) is as painful as it can be…
