Dual sim: what if thief using second slot without replacing owners primary sim

I am using dual sim mobile… With no sim in second slot… Using anti theft feature for my primary sim…
What will happen if thief is not removing my primary sim and using his sim in the second slot…
Will it send the newly detected mobile number to my friends mobile… ??
If I am using sms codes… if he is not keeping records like call log or messages
How can it help…?

we don’t support dual SIM devices. Android doesn’t give us a clear reading of the SIM(s) in use.

Hi,

I think that

a) the new SIM might be detected

b) SMS commands to the original SIM should (in my opinion) still work as long as the SIM is still in the phone in the same slot

The major problem with dual sim devices is, that sometime a sim card change is detected by error.

to find out details and what-if’s…please try it yourself. As we don’t support it, I don’t really know too much about dual sim security in Anti-Theft.
