Dummy Move with Some Free Video Converting Software

Well last few weeks with my most used PC systems, I haven’t made the smartest choices, for starters trying Windows Defender on Desktop & Laptop, anyways last night decided to do some minor video conversions with this free software AVC video converter, then went to use my dvd drive to do something else, check what was on a DVD-R disc, well then it kept saying insert disc, wasn’t reading anything.

Then discovered Main boot hard drive was totally full, with only 1gb free at first, then 10gb as I started cleaning (SSD)

I was like what the heck is writing so much, so stopped the youtube music video conversions with AVC, then searched for the files, then finally removed the program totally, then started deleting all it’s folders, then restarted system, and amazingly dvd drive worked again, have 122gb free of 232gb. Output folder for the drive was set to D–Storage, guess temp files wasn’t

Did eset online scan–(clean) Malwarebytes full custom scan–Clean

so think i’ll try to ignore the other forum comments if I can regarding Avast and get Avast reinstalled shortly here on the most used systems.

Well when I install my possible new Samsung SSD for the system at Christmas–nice clean system install, Windows Updates til there isn’t any more, drivers, Avast Free, Then other software I think is how i’ll do it.

I tend to fall for the other comments in other forums more so than other people, why I don’t know, guess just me for some reason. But I will ignore those, as that was a scare last night

Is there a question or are you just vetting?

Well Just detailing experience and my dumb choices, and don’t even think if I had Avast in like I should’ve, it would’ve prevented this situation I described above.
