I’m having lots of issues with my computer freezing up. When is does, task manager shows 100% CPU followed by 100% DISK. Watching processes in task manager while stuck at 100% DISK, I got a quick glance at E_DISKSD.EXE. However, it disappears from the list of processes; I can’t find it with file explorer; and I can’t find it searching the internet or Avast forum. I don’t know if it has anything to do with my computer freezing up and am hoping that someone here has seen this problem.

Have you made any recent changes to your device? Perhaps your device needs a reboot. If it is not clear what is causing the issue, perhaps a system restore might help.
