I’m using outlook 2002 an am e-mai client. Whenever i’m sending a message with a jpg file attachment - approx 700KB in size…the send & receive status eventually gets to 100% then goes back to 75% …and gets back up to 100% and goes back to 75%…and so on until a send & receive error message comes up…and the email remains in the outbox.
The avast e-mail scanner is on.
Could you increase your time out option to 120secs for large files?
I believe that I am correct in saying that the avast Outlook provider is the preferred method of scanning mail with Outlook 2002 (indeed with all Outlook versions from 2001 on). In that case you will not need to use the Internet email scanner (unless you also use other email clients on your system).
