hola tengo el antivirus avast hace como 6 meses y hoy al prender el notebook no se actualizo automáticamente (el motor y la base de antivirus) como otras veces, me fui al programa y lo intente actualizar manualmente y no pude ya que me salio que "el paquete estaba dañado .
necesito ayuda urgente.
nota: me dice que esta protegido pero que es importante actualizar y no se actualiza :c

Traducción: Gabo14, No veo nada incorrecto en los logs a pesar de que hay algo que está corrumpiendo el programa(que no lo deja arrancar). ¿Utilizas algún otro software de seguridad? Antivirus? Cortafuegos? ¿Qué antivirus tenias anteriormente? Tal vez si desinstalas, reinicias, reinstalas y vuelves a reiniciar se solucionaría…
Completamente de acuerdo con Tech y con su permiso de indico la forma más recomendada de hacer una desinstalación completa.
Pasos a seguir:
Reinicia el ordenador en modo seguro (antiguo modo a prueba de fallos). Sigue las instrucciones que encontrarás en la siguiente URL para arrancar. http://windows.microsoft.com/es-ES/windows-vista/Start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
Desinstala completamente AVAST de tu sistema utilizando la herramienta ASWCLEAR que avast pone a disposición de sus usuarios en el siguiente link: http://www.avast.com/es-es/uninstall-utility
Inicia el sistema normalmente
Vuelve a instalar AVAST y prueba a actualizar…
Cuando hayas seguido estos pasos vuelve por aquí y nos comentas.
PD: ¿Qué versión de Avast utilizas? Por curiosidad…

Me alegro que hayas resuelto el problema.
Un comentario para otros leyendo esto. La reparación de Avast desde el Panel de Control suele ser suficiente, si se reinicia el sistema una vez reparado Avast.
El reinicio del sistema luego de la reparación suele solucionar los problemas de este tipo (sin necesidad de realizar una completa re-instalación limpia).
Hay otros métodos alternativos para descargar la actualización (y reiniciar después), pero lo dejaremos para otra oportunidad :).
